Green Belt Training is an innovative four-day training program directed at process improvement based upon the practical application of Lean Six Sigma tailored for collision repair.
What is Lean Six Sigma ?
Lean Six Sigma is a business improvement methodology that combines (as the name implies) tools from both Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma. The combination of Lean and Six Sigma provides focuses on continuous flow by reducing waste (non-value activity) and variation. Originally developed by Toyota (Lean, The Toyota Production System) and Motorola (Six Sigma), these proven principles and tool sets have been used by thousands of companies’ world wide from manufacturing to job shops, to health care, sales and service industries.
The MVP Green Belt Training program is the result of over three years extensive research and development efforts conducted by a world class team of Lean Six Sigma and collision repair management specialists from PPG Refinishes MVP Business Solutions Group.
